With the more and more matches being added to the Armageddon, the event is getting hotter and hotter. The Intercontinental Title Tournament was a hit among the audience for the past three weeks on Raw. Out of the eight Superstars waiting for earning an opportunity to compete for the championship gold, two remain now, Rey Mysterio and World Tag Team Champion CM Punk.

The two champions will be seeing each other for the first time in the ring and that too at the Armageddon and the winner will be taking on William Regal for his Intercontinental Title. It’s been a long and tough journey for both of the stars till here. There had been many rivals of the stars likeMike Knox fighting against Mysterio, Punk against Snitsky.

Though the high flying Rey Mysterio has more experience under his belt than his rival Punk but it will be the Monday Night that will decide the fate of these wrestlers. Punk would also be required to fight for his tag team partner Kofi Kingston, who was eliminated from the tournament at the hands of Mysterio.

The two stars have fought with each other as a team in the past but the Armageddon will give them a chance to show their talent and also win the championship gold.
