Booker T in an interview talks about various issues.

On Leaving WWE for TNA:
Booker says that he feels it’s time for him to leave WWE now as life progresses in stages. He could still be in WWE but he had done almost everything there. Being there was just adding pressure and weight on his body and mental strain on his family life. He wants to enjoy life and slow down after his 19 years in WWE.

On Helping Younger Talent:
It was about giving back more than anything. After doing well in WWE and WCW he is at that stage in life where he wants to do less wrestling but more behind the scene stuffs and helping the younger talents to come up and become famous. He wants to pass all the help, wisdom and direction he had got over the years.

On TNA Backstage Compared To WWE:
All the guys in TNA are happy and working towards a common goal of making TNA mean something. Everyone there is having fun with no backstabbing anyone and this is where he fits in though being the older guy playing computer games.

On Michael Hayes:
Booker T has known Hayes for many years and has no problems with him. Hayes has been saying black things in black ways. Whatever happened has been blown out of proportion. And it is a famous saying “you reap what you sow”.
