The popular superstar formerly known as ‘Deuce’ has decided to change his name. The news came out when the former WWE Tag Team Champion, on December 15, 2008 at Raw announced to the world that he is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Jimmy “Superfly” Snuka and thus demanded that everyone now should recall him as “Sim Snuka” which would be his new name.

While Snuka was fighting against Rey Mysterio, his attention shifted to the two wrestlers Cody Rhodes & Manu, present at the ringside and he realized that they were the sons of WWE Hall of Famers Dusty Rhodes and Afa the Wild Samoan, respectively. Snuka’s demand of reverting back to his true name has certainly raised some questions.

Since 2007 and fighting under the old name Duece has got him huge admiration winning the WWE Tag Team Title on SmackDown before he was drafted to Raw in 2008. It may be some thing outside the ring that made him to think and change his name to his true identity. May be he just wanted to improve his father’s identity.

Well this thing has certainly raised many questions among the viewers but this will be clearer in the upcoming shows of Raw. So just make sure to see the action every Monday night on Raw.
