Fights affects Referees along with Wrestlers

Fighting in the ring with a wrestler is not an easy task and there are several adversities linked with this. Broken bones, cracked limbs and dislocated teeth are some common problems faced by not only the wrestlers these days but also by the Referee present in the ring. At least this is what has happened to Tim White, a WWE referee legend.

Tim adds saying that though he is not complaining being a referee and also likes the work but standing in the ring is quite risky. He also says that, the game also get physical for the referees. Tim had enjoyed most parts of the sport and even remembers some of the great moments that he saw in his term. White warns the new referees saying that if they can’t withstand the heat in the ring then they should go home.

Tim served the WWE with his sincere efforts but it was at Judgment Day in 2002, while refereeing in a match between Triple H and Chris Jericho in a Hell in a Cell match, he suffered severe injuries. During the match Tim was tossed onto the steel cage and landed awkwardly on his shoulders.

Tim had to undergo surgical operations five times and thus referred that as his last match. Tim feels left off as he still misses the excitement of working and climbing up the ring.
