New PG Rating for WWE

WWE is panning to gain a new TV Rating for its shows. WWE has been broadcasting its shows thrice a week and is planning to do it in such a way so that it can gain a PG Rating. WWE has aimed to become more family friendly show now and can be viewed by a large number of viewers after this rating.

WWE is full of action and may not be suitable for some viewers but after it is planning to have a new TV rating PG; surely it can be viewed by a large number of audiences. WWE’s Friday Night SmackDown is already having a PG rating whereas Monday Night Raw being hosted on USA Network and ECW on SciFi will be required to have the rating.

The audience need not worry about the wildness of the show as WWE reported that the shows will not become tame as a result of the rating but will only focus on the storylines and the characters. Only the too offensive stunts will be curbed as a result of the rating.

WWE has taken this step in view of the increasing number of its younger audiences. It has also released a kid’s magazine and a site for its young viewers. This is a nice move taken by WWE for its young champions.
