Making a career in wrestling is not easy as it comes preloaded with injuries. No one can skip facing injuries while fighting. Even the wrestling history had seen many injuries to many wrestlers. There had been almost all kinds of injuries some of which were life threatening. Even the Heart Break Kid Shawn Michaels was not spared and saw many of them.

Shawn had faced several knee injuries during his lifetime and a back injury left him waiting to wrestle for four years. This is not all, Shawn had broken his ribs at the WrestleMania 24 when he misfired his Moon Sault and landed on the announce table on his chest and ribs. Later when he faced Chris Jericho at The Great American Bash his problem was only increased.

Shawn became helpless when he also injured his eye at the hand of Jericho. Y2J slammed Michaels face first into the glass of the Jeri-Tron 6000 thereby gaining a detached retina. The fight at the Great American Bash came as a bad day for him, who again hurt himself at the uncured ribs making him lie in blood on the ground.

The news was out when Shawn went for a checkup to the doctor. Let’s just hope that the Showstopper gets cured quickly and makes a strong comeback at the WWE.
