The Animal Undergoes Surgery
Anything can happen in this world of Wrestling and even the wrestlers are not safe. The game is much prone to injury and similar thing happened to the famous wrestler Batista on December 15th edition of Monday Night Raw. The former World Heavyweight Champion received an infamous kick from Randy Orton right on his head.
The awestruck Animal immediately suffered a hamstring injury that not only kicked him outside the ongoing match but also made him to undergo a surgery to repair his torn hamstring ligament. The perfectly directed kick to his head threw the Animal out of action for indefinite period of time.
Surprisingly the champ injured his hamstring on SummerSlam and in the same match in which the World Heavyweight Champion John Cena suffered a neck injury and thus got himself out of action. Batista had already undergone a bone graft in his jaw to make for the loss of two of his teeth that were forcibly removed after he suffered the kick from the Legend Killer Orton.
To cure his problem and gain the upcoming opportunity for the World Heavyweight title, Batista travelled to Birmingham, this past Friday, at Andrews Sports Medicine & Orthopedic Center at St. Vincent’s Hospital and got himself operated under the care of Dr. Jeffrey Duga, colleague of Dr. James Andrews. The Animal is much better and will remain there for some days until he gets fully fit.
