The seven-time WWE Women’s Champion Trish Stratus was on a India trip recently to film her new travel documentary program Stratusphere and now the Women’s Champion Trish Stratus hosts her own travel show, Stratusphere, and is up for a Gemini Award.

It pays to be Trish and this is evident from the fact that when she was having difficulty clearing customs in India, she was suddenly recognized by one of the persons and there were several people taking their cell phones out to click her pic. This is the life of the one of the world’s most recognizable women as she has managed to keep a raised profile since her retirement from WWE in 2006.

Trish is also Gemini Award nomination for Hottest Canadian Female TV Star. She is very excited to win the opportunity and is looking forward for the same. According to her, the award is roughly the Canadian equivalent of an Emmy. The online voting for the contest is ending this Friday but Trish would not be able to know the result until the ceremony on Nov. 28.

Trish Stratus, the self-proclaimed “tomboy” told the co-producers and the network executives that she has always wanted to do more than a traditional travel program hence drawing on her adventurous spirit. She claims that a Travel show is a dream job for her and didn’t want to do a traditional program.
