After the SummerSlam the audience is eagerly waiting for the upcoming WWE show Unforgiven on 7th September, 2008. Unforgiven will also showcase the WWE Championship Scramble Match, the first ever match in WWE history and will continue for 20 odd minutes. The match will include five wrestlers Jeff Hardy, United States Champion Shelton Benjamin, Montel Vontavious Porter, Triple H and The Brian Kendrick.

SmackDown’s General Manager Vickie Guerrero announced few qualifying matches winning which would entitle four wrestlers to join the WWE Champion Triple H at the unprecedented title contest at Unforgiven. The Brian Kendrick became the first winner after defeating the other fierce wrestlers in a 10-Man Battle Royal. The win came when he was helped by Ezekiel Jackson.

The second superstar was MVP who stood victorious after defeating Festus. The third wrestler was the United States Champion Shelton Benjamin who pinned Finlay to earn the opportunity to win himself the other title. The final star to fight against the Game was Jeff Hardy who even defeated the Great Khali whom the Game was unable to defeat.

The rules for the scramble bout are as follows: two randomly selected fighters will initiate the match and a new wrestler will step in every five minutes. The star to pinfall any other will be the “interim” champion but the star to earn the final pinfall in 20 minutes interval will be declared the official winner.
